As you are aware, due to the Covid-19 restrictions we had to cancel the #IGNITE conference in Vienna. Instead we decided to hold a series of online Digital Roundtables on Wednesday afternoons through April via Zoom (8, 15, 22, 29 April). Since you had registered for or planned on presenting at our face to face conference, we would very much hope for your active participation in the digital roundtables. We hope to see as many of you as possible online! Our confirmed speakers will cover subjects, such as digital innovation in teaching and learning in the humanities, flipped classroom teaching, maker culture as new forms of meaning-making and knowledge creation, how to prepare humanities students for a new labour market, and how can humanities knowledge take on and create solutions for global challenges while facilitating the digital transition of society.
The first #IGNITEroundtable will be held on Wednesday 8 April 2020, 4-5pm (CEST)! This session will consist of three ten-minute papers, followed by a 15 minute discussion.
Session Moderator: Marianne Ping Huang, School of Communication and Culture, Aarhus University.
