DaSCH

Research data in the humanities needs to be sustainable, and access to digital resources must be possible over a long period. The DaSCH, located in Switzerland, offers a centralized infrastructure based on flexible and extensible software, modern technologies, and open standards. This makes it straightforward to migrate existing humanities research project databases with limited life spans to a standards-based form for long-term preservation and reuse.

DLCM

DLCM

The "Data Life-Cycle Management" (DLCM), was launched to catch up with the new directives in research data management required by funding agencies and publishers. The DLCM project involves eight partners institutions. Given that each partner institution has already major issues in data management to resolve, the involved national funding program provided us with the just-in-time opportunity to gather our respective forces and to grapple with this important and complex topic so as to serve the whole Swiss research community.
